Tensions are rising as North Korea continues to conduct missile tests using weapons that are purportedly capable of hitting the United States. Not to mention the tragic case of Otto Warmbier<\/a>, continued provocation of President Trump<\/a>, and now, we\u2019re learning, suspicious submarine<\/a> activity that could preclude a missile launch.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

One military leader under Trump\u2019s command has a rather simple solution to the problem in North Korea. It\u2019s a five-word plan to alleviate rising tensions.<\/p>\n

Terrence J. O\u2019Shaughnessy, Commander of the\u00a0Pacific Air Forces,\u00a0has warned the rogue state that America is gearing up to use \u201crapid, lethal and overwhelming force.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIf called upon,\u201d O\u2019Shaughnessy announced, \u201cwe are ready to respond with rapid, lethal, and overwhelming force at a time and place of our choosing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Gen. Terrence J. O\u2019Shaughnessy, U.S. Pacific Air Forces commander, said the U.S. and its allies are prepared to use \u201crapid, lethal and overwhelming force\u201d against North Korea if necessary.<\/p>\n

\u201cNorth Korea remains the most urgent threat to regional stability,\u201d the general said.\u00a0\u201cDiplomacy remains the lead; however, we have a responsibility to our allies and our nation to showcase our unwavering commitment while planning for the worst-case scenario. If called upon, we are ready to respond with rapid, lethal, and overwhelming force at a time and place of our choosing.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n

That ought to be enough to send Kim Jong Un running to the nearest computer so he can Skype his BFF, Dennis Rodman. Clearly, giving Dear Leader<\/a> a copy of The Art of the Deal<\/em> isn\u2019t paying dividends as Kim continues to incur the wrath of President Trump.<\/p>\n

Senator Lindsey Graham told NBC news earlier today that Trump has a plan in place that would deliver<\/em> that \u201crapid, lethal, and overwhelming force.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is a military option to destroy North Korea\u2019s program and North Korea itself,\u201d Graham said. \u201cIf there\u2019s going to be a war to stop him [Kim Jong Un], it will be over there. If thousands die, they\u2019re going to die over there, they\u2019re not going to die here and he\u2019s [Trump] told me that to my face.\u201d<\/p>\n
