A mother of six was the victim of a brutal terror attack Sunday \u2013 the 28th fatality since\u00a0the upsurge of Palestinian violence that began mid-September.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The 39-year-old woman brutally slaughtered in her own home<\/a> in Judea late Sunday afternoon was identified as Dafna Meir, a mother of six, including two foster children, ages 4 to 17.<\/p>\n

Meir was also a dedicated nurse at Soroka University Medical Center in Be\u2019er Sheba.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the name of all Israelis, I want to give strength to all the children of the family. All of us are hurting and share in the painful grief. We will find the terrorist, and he will pay the full price for this heinous murder,\u201d Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated\u00a0on his Facebook page.<\/p>\n

The Palestinian terrorist broke into her home and stabbed her to death in the presence of\u00a0one of the\u00a0children; two others were at home as well. First responders tried in vain to save her life.<\/div>\n
\"\"<\/strong><\/em><\/div>\n
\u201cIt was a difficult sight,\u201d said Noam Bar, a senior Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedic. \u201cWe saw a woman, about 40 years old, unconscious, not breathing and without a pulse. She had penetration wounds in her upper body. We performed prolonged resuscitation attempts.\u201d<\/div>\n

The terrorist was an employee in the small Jewish community and this enabled him to enter Otniel and carry out the barbaric attack.<\/p>\n

The funeral will take place Monday morning at Har Hamenuchot<\/em> cemetery in Jerusalem.<\/p>\n

As of Sunday night, the search is still continuing for the terrorist. The community remains in lockdown.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe will not rest until we settle accounts with the terrorist, wherever he is,\u201d Defense Minister Moshe Ya\u2019alon declared. \u201cToday\u2019s murder at Otniel teaches us yet again what a cruel enemy we are up against.\u201d<\/p>\n
